You describe a WordPress plugin, and Steem generates the code with an AI model. You can preview it, download it, publish it, push it to a repository, or install it on a site you have connected.

The code Steem generates is yours. Steem claims no ownership of it and no licence over it. Sell it, give it away, put it in the WordPress directory. It is your plugin.

Two honest caveats. First, generated code is not automatically unique; someone else describing the same plugin may receive something similar, and neither of you owns the other's. Second, if you publish a plugin to the Steem gallery, you are giving other people permission to view and remix it. That is what publishing means here, and you can unpublish at any time.

Plugins are produced by an AI model. It can be wrong. It can write code that does not work, that behaves differently from what you asked, or that contains a security flaw. It can do all three while looking correct.

Read what it produced before putting it on a site that matters, and back that site up first. Steem validates output for common WordPress mistakes and previews it in a real WordPress instance, which catches a great deal and cannot catch everything. The service is provided as-is, without warranty, and you are responsible for what you install.

• Generating a plugin costs credits, scaled to how much work it takes. Chatting and planning are free.
• The free plan includes 75 credits a month. Pro is $10 a month for 500 credits, which roll over up to 1500.
• Credits you have paid for stay yours. If you cancel, or a payment fails, your balance is not taken away. You keep spending it down. What stops is the monthly top-up.
• Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel any time from the billing portal. Credits are not exchangeable for money.
• Prices can change. If they do, you will be told before it affects a renewal.

• Generate malware, backdoors, or anything designed to compromise sites or people.
• Break the law with it, or infringe someone else's rights.
• Resell access to Steem itself, or use it to run a competing generation service. Selling the plugins you build is fine and encouraged.
• Attack the service, evade credit limits, or use one account to serve many people.

Accounts doing these things can be suspended. Where it is a genuine mistake, you will hear about it before anything is closed.

If you connect a WordPress site or a GitHub account, you are confirming you are entitled to do that. Steem acts on those connections only when you ask it to (installing a plugin, pushing a commit) and never on its own. Revoking access at the source, or disconnecting here, ends it immediately.

Steem is a small service and does not promise a particular uptime. Features may change. You can delete your account whenever you like; if Steem ever shuts down, you will get notice and time to download your plugins.

To the extent the law allows, Steem's liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
